Born to be a stunt man, as far back as he can remember Spanky's driving desire was to be a Hollywood stuntman. He trained constantly and rigorously in all varieties of sports. After enlisting in the army, first as a paratrooper and later as a Green Beret, he became a decorated soldier and the youngest Green Beret to this date. His experiences in the armed forces helped prepare him for what was to come.
